1. Do I need to bring a dance partner?

It is not a requirement to come to class with a partner, although you are always welcome to do so. During the class you will be rotating partners giving you the opportunity to meet and dance with everyone, including your instructor.

2. How much are the classes and for how long?

Adult classes are $15 for one hour. Kids/Students classes are $10. Please visit our Prices page for more information. Salsa Class sessions follow the below curriculum (depending on how fast the class advances):

Class Sessions:

  • Beginner: 6 months (Lvls 1-6, 1 month each level)
  • Intermediate I: app. 6 months
  • Intermediate II: app. 6 months
  • Advanced

3. Do you offer private lessons?

Yes we do. Private lessons are a great way to advance to the next level, catch up from a missed class, or to work on moves you are having difficulty with. Private lessons are available with any one of our male or female instructors, and are scheduled at a time that is convenient for both you and the instructor. The cost for a private lesson is $75 for one hour. This price can include up to 3 individuals who may share the cost. Private lessons need to be scheduled in advance and require a 24 hour cancellation period. For more information, visit our Private Lessons page here >

4. What should I wear and bring to class?

There is no dress code for class, but your best bet is to wear something casual and comfortable. Ladies should wear dress shoes that have a closed back and support around the ankle. Gentlemen should wear dress shoes that have a smooth bottom. Sneakers, Timberland boots or slip-on sandals are NOT recommended. Most importantly, the one thing that we recommend you to bring is your SMILE!

5. Where can we go dancing?

There is always a place to go dancing! We promote and encourage all of our students to go out and show off their dance moves. Check out our the flyers in the studio to find opportunities for FREE Salsa Lessons and to catch up on the hottest places to go dancing. We will also keep our students updated on any upcoming events and latest news through our monthly newsletter.

6. How and when can I join a Student Performance Class?

Anyone that has gone through Beginner Level I can join a Student Performance Class. Estilo Dance Studio holds performance classes every 6 months in all levels, beginner to advanced. If you are interested in being part of a performance group, ask your instructor for help in choosing which group best works for you. Student Performance Classes are a great way to take your dancing to another level, and if being on a professional dance team is your goal, this is a great start.

7. Do you offer anything other than salsa?

Yes we do. We offer classes in other latin dances such as Bachata, Mambo & Cha-cha-cha. We also have Mens and Ladies Styling Classes to further enhance each individual’s dancing technique. Kids classes include ballet and hip hop. We now even offer ZUMBA!
